ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rev. Dr. Roy Jones Jr. is a dedicated servant-leader, author, and veteran with over two decades of service in the U.S. Army. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Shorter College, a Historical Black College and University in North Little Rock, Arkansas. As the founder of Roy Jones Jr. Ministries and a seasoned pastor within the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, Dr. Jones has dedicated his life to the ministry of restoration and resilience. Holding a doctorate from United Theological Seminary, he is the author of several books, including My Journey, It’s Praying Time because Prayer Still Works, Rescue and Restoration of an African American Community Leading from the Church, and the 40 Days Alone with God series. His mission is to empower believers—from youth to seniors—to recognize that while life may knock you down, through Christ, you have the power to get back up.
